AF Fire Protection Motto 

The Desire To Serve, The Ability To Perform, and The Courage to Act

The AF Fire Protection Motto was developed in 1980.  It was selected from among 30 nominations by popular vote of AF fire fighters.  I've prepared a document that contains all the details about the Motto.

The document is large - 6 Meg.  It's a PDF file that contains the actual solicitation for nominations, actual vote tally, and the first words ever written about it (by yours truly).  I wanted to do this while I still possess all the documents that relate to the motto.   Click here to download the document.
